Vasuki Tal is a glacial lake located at an altitude of 14,200 feet in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, near Kedarnath. It is a sweet water lake near Kedarnath and the trek distance is approx 8 Km from Kedarnath to Vasuki tal. Mythology of Vasuki Taal

How to reach Vasuki Tal
Firstly reach Gaurikund via bus or cab and start the trek to Kedarnath from here which is an approximately 18 Km long trek. Once you reach Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath temple and then continue the journey to Vasuki Tal from here which is 8 Km away. The starting phase of the trek to Vasuki Tal from Kedarnath is an easy grade trek, but the rest of the trek is a little hard. Once you reach Vasuki Top, the Vasuki Tal is 900 meters downhill from the top and the view from the top gives another level of feeling and we forget our tiredness and other things. The lake is really so beautiful and most of the time the lake remains frozen.
