It’s an ideal tourist destination in Chamoli. Auli is another best and most visited place in Chamoli, where thousands of tourists and visitors come every year and enjoy the snowfall and winter games here. This place is just 12 km away from Joshimath. Auli is the perfect destination for Honeymoon, winter games(skiing, etc), Auli artificial lake, and ropeway. It is the perfect winter destination for solo, with friend groups, and with family. Auli is visited by thousands of Indian and foreign visitors every year. Auli is popular for Winter games especially and is the highest man-made artificial lake. There are many other places nearby Auli you can visit and have an enjoyable time.

Joshimath is just 12 km down from Auli. It is famous for the temple Jyotirmath that’s why the city is named Joshimath. It is the base for the trek to the valley of flowers.
