GMVN which means Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd. is an enterprise of the Uttarakhand State Government. The GMVN was formed on 31st March 1976 to develop the tourism industry in the Garhwal region. Presently this organization has around INR 40 crores capital and a workforce of over 1200 dedicated employees all over the state. The main head office of Uttarakhand tourism is in Dehradun(the capital city of Uttarakhand).
