Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam Ltd. (KMVN) is an enterprise of Govt. of Uttaranchal as GMVN. Uttarakhand, the 27 states of India, are divided into two regions, Garhwal and Kumaon. KMVN is responsible for developing the tourism industry in the Kumaon region of the Uttarakhand state, as this organization has tourist rest houses in every popular destination of Kumaon like Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam.
Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam offers a wide range of services and facilities for tourists who want to plan their tour to Kumaon in Uttarakhand state. Kailash Mansarovar yatra, which is the famous holy pilgrimage of Hindus conducted by KMVN every year with the association of the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India.
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra generally organizes in the months of May and June every year and tours are divided into several batches and leave for Mount Kailash one by one. KMVN makes all the arrangements for pilgrims.
