Nagrasu is a beautiful town in Rudraprayag district which is located on Badrinath highway NH-7(formally known as NH-58) between Rudraprayag town and Gauchar. It is the last town of Rudraprayag district on NH7 and after here the border of Chamoli district starts. The village is well-populated and located over a flat piece of land. Shiva Temple Nagrasu
There is an ancient Shiva temple located on the left side of the road (travelling towards Gauchar) that you can visit anytime. The temple remains open all day and throughout the year. If you are in Nagrasu then you must visit this temple.
Gurudwara at Nagrasu
There is a gurudwara at Nagrasu where you can also visit with your friends or family. You can also enjoy the langar at this Gurudwara. It is located near Nagrasu Shiva temple on the side of the road.
Sacred Heart School Nagrasu
Sacred Heart School (Convent School) is also located near the Gurudwara which you can also visit after school time by taking special permission from the faculties (sisters/fathers) of the school. Hariyali Devi Temple

How to reach Nagrasu
By Air
The nearest helipad is located in Gauchar. You can take a helicopter from Dehradun to Gauchar and then travel to Nagrasu via shared taxi or bus. The distance between Gauchar and Nagrasu is just 5 Km and it will take 10 – 15 minutes to reach there.
By Train
The nearest railway station to Nagrasu is in Rishikesh. From Rishikesh, you can take a shared taxi or bus to reach Nagrasu.
By Road
Nagrasu is well-connected with the national and state highways of Uttarakhand. It is located on NH-7 Badrinath highway, so you would not face a problem finding cabs or buses to reach Nagrasu. You can take a direct bus from Kashmiri Gate to Delhi, Dehradun, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Srinagar, or Rudraprayag to Nagrasu. The road conditions are excellent, so your journey will be comfortable.
