Binsar is a wildlife sanctuary in the Almora district and it is perched at an elevation of 2420 meters. Binsar is well known for its beautiful forests and it offers beautiful views of the Himalayan range and some other peaks such as Nanda Devi, Chaukhamba and others. Jageshwar

Jageshwar temple group is a popular temple in Almora and every year thousands of pilgrims and tourists from all over India visit this holy ancient temple. Jageshwar Dham is located at an elevation of 1870 meters above sea level and a distance of 37 Km from the main market Almora. Cabs and buses are easily available from Almora to Jageshwar Dham or you can book a cab with the Garhwali Traveller cab network at a very reasonable price.

Ramgarh

Ramgarh is another popular tourist destination in Almora district of Uttarakhand and is suitable for family, friends, couples, group tours and solo travelers. Bhimtal

It is one of the most beautiful and biggest natural lake in the Almora district of Uttarakhand. This lake is and city is named after Bhima, the mythological character of Mahabharata. Sattal

Sattal is another natural lake nearby Almora and it is a hidden natural beauty lake you must go. It is located in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand and is 64 Km away from Almora district. SatTal is situated at an elevation of 1370 meters above from the sea level and offers beautiful views of nature. Basically it is a group pf 7 lakes and most of the lakes gets water only during the monsoon season.
