In 1889 the bridge was reconstructed and replaced by steel and Iron rope suspension. A similar bridge was made in 1986 which was named Ram Jhoola. Also, there are many ancient temples in Rishikesh made by Adi Guru Shankaracharya.

If possible, try to find resorts at Joshimath because there is a big difference in the price of accommodation at Auli and Joshimath. Auli is just 12 Km away from Joshimath.

Avoid travelling in the monsoon seasons, as the reason is hilly and heavy rainfall and snowfall can be seen at that time and you have to face some problems. The main problem which you would face is landslides and that causes roadblocks.

There are no Petrol Pumps and ATMs available at Auli, you have to prepare for the things at Joshimath where petrol pumps and ATMs are available.

Rudranath is at a height of 2200 meters, so there are no hotels or restaurants. The only option for food items and meals is to carry them with you. You can carry snacks and packaged food.
